Campervan Hire For Under 25s & Young Drivers In Scotland
Aged 21 to 24 and looking to hire a campervan in Scotland? Alba Campers offers campervan hire for eligible young drivers aged 21 and over, with comprehensive drivers insurance included with your hire.
Many campervan hire companies require drivers to be 25 or older. At Alba Campers, eligible drivers can hire from age 21, making it easier to explore Edinburgh, the Scottish Highlands, the North Coast 500 and beyond.
Our range of Campervans are ideal for younger drivers looking to explore Scotland, with compact automatic vehicles that are easier to handle than many larger motorhomes. Whether you’re planning a weekend away, a Highlands road trip or the North Coast 500, you can choose the campervan that best suits your trip.
HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO HIRE A CAMPERVAN?
With Alba Campers, the standard minimum driving age is 21. Drivers must also have held a full driving licence for at least two years and meet our insurer’s eligibility requirements.
If you’re aged 21, 22, 23 or 24, you don’t need to wait until you’re 25 to experience a Scottish campervan road trip.
IS CAMPERVAN INSURANCE INCLUDED FOR DRIVERS UNDER 25?
Yes. Eligible drivers aged 21 and over can hire an Alba Campers campervan with comprehensive drivers insurance included as part of their hire. You don’t need to arrange a separate campervan insurance policy simply because you’re under 25.
Driver eligibility still depends on factors including how long you’ve held your licence and your driving history. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to check.
Automatic Campervans That Are Easy to Drive
Our campervans have automatic transmission, which many younger drivers find straightforward and comfortable to drive. Their relatively compact size also makes them well suited to Scottish roads compared with much larger motorhomes.
Whether you’re exploring the Highlands, heading to the Isle of Skye or taking on the North Coast 500, a compact campervan gives you the freedom of a road trip without having to drive a large motorhome.
