Central Location

Alba Campers is located just outside Edinburgh City Centre which is the ideal location to start your camper van hire. Edinburgh has some of Scotland’s best tourist attractions. Edinburgh Castle, Scots Monument, Royal Mile and Princes Street Gardens to name but a few.

We are located very close to Rosslyn Chapel, which is a fantastic area with so much to see. Rosslyn Chapel was famously on ‘The Da Vinci Code’ film and many people strongly believe the Holy Grail is hidden somewhere in this Chapel by The Knights Templars.

Edinburgh City Centre and Edinburgh Waverley Train Station

If you are travelling to Alba Campers via Edinburgh City Centre or Edinburgh Waverley Train Station you will have several options on how to collect your Campervan.

Bus

Their are many Bus routes which service our area. You can get The 37, The 47 and The X62 from Edinburgh. These buses all pass by Alba Campers and are very frequent. Just ask the driver to let you off at Glencourse Golf Club in Milton Bridge. Alba Campers is directly opposite this stop which is a fantastic service for us from the bus companies.

Taxi or Uber

Their are a lot of Taxis available in Edinburgh City Centre. Expect to pay around £20 to £30 from Edinburgh City Centre to Alba Campers if you decide to travel by Taxi or Uber.

Edinburgh Collection

If you would prefer to meet with Alba Campers in Edinburgh City Centre. We may be able to bring your Campervan to your location within Edinburgh for pick up and drop off for an additional fee of £150. This service can be beneficial for customers who have large items of luggage which they may struggle to transport.

Edinburgh City Centre can be very busy and difficult to find parking spaces to allow us to show you around the Campervan. So we do prefer to meet elsewhere but offer this service for our customers convenience.

Please note, this service is only available by prior agreement as we have several Campervans and during busy days we may not be able to leave our depot if other customers are checking in or returning on the same day.

Edinburgh Airport

If you are travelling to Alba Campers from Edinburgh Airport you will have several options on how to collect your Campervan.

Bus and Tram

The easiest way to get from Edinburgh Airport to Alba Campers is to use the Tram service. This operates every 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh City Centre.

If you would prefer to meet with Alba Campers at Edinburgh Airport. We are able to bring your Campervan to Edinburgh Airport for an additional fee of £150. This service can be beneficial for customers who have large items of luggage which they may struggle to transport.

Edinburgh Airport has strict rules and charge for parking which has low time slots to allow us to show you around the Campervan. So we do prefer to meet elsewhere but offer this service for our customers convenience.

Straiton Park and Ride

Straiton Park and Ride is a great location to meet with your Campervan. We offer to meet our customers here for a small fee of £15. This price includes both collection and returning of Campervan and it has several benefits for our customers.

CCTV in operation.
Bus Station inside Park and Ride.
Large open car park, allowing us time and space to show you around the Campervan.
Return your Campervan back here and easily unload luggage back into your car.
