Alba Campers Sponsors Newbattle Bowling Club

At Alba Campers, we love exploring Scotland’s great outdoors—but we also believe in supporting our local community. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Newbattle Bowling Club, a fantastic club that brings people together through sport and social events.

Lawn bowls is a brilliant game for all ages and abilities, offering a mix of skill, strategy, and social connection. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner, clubs like Newbattle provide a welcoming environment to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new people.

Beyond the bowling green, the club is a lively hub with a bar, bingo nights, and dominoes, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy good company.

As a local business offering affordable campervan hire in Scotland, we love supporting activities that promote health, well-being, and community spirit. Lawn bowls is an inclusive and accessible sport that helps people stay fit, social, and engaged, much like the adventures our customers experience when they hire a campervan and explore Scotland’s stunning landscapes and welcoming communities.

If you’ve never tried bowls before, why not give it a shot? You might just find your new favourite pastime! If any of our customers are interested in organising a game or giving it a go, let us know—we have spare bowls and are happy to help!
