Camping with a campervan guide
Having the freedom of a Campervan or Motorhome is truly exhilarating. The ability to plan your route, decide where you would like to visit and where you would like to stop for the night is all part of the adventure of Camping in a Campervan! Not to mention the convenience of being able to park up and get organised for a comfortable night’s sleep in some of the countries most spectacular places.
We would recommend that you choose to stay in registered campsites overnight, which overall is better for the local environment and sustains the local economy.
In this guide we will go over the benefits of using Registered Campsites and give you tips for Camping and a breakdown of the Essentials you will need to bring along for Camping in a Campervan or Motorhome.
Why Would You Go Camping in Scotland?
Well Scotland has previously won the accolade of ‘Most Beautiful Country in the World’ and is successively mentioned on these voting lists time and time again. Now our vocabulary is most likely not rich enough to describe how beautiful Scotland truly is but we can try.
Scotland has a strong physical beauty which is intertwined with it’s close proximity to nature and the wild. We have vibrant cities such as our hometown of Edinburgh but you do not have to venture far to become lost in the wilderness.
This is helped by Scotland having two National Parks, which are vast areas of outstanding landscape where modern day development is restricted to preserve the landscape and the true wilderness of nature. Scotland’s two National Parks are The Cairngorm National Park and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs.
Landscapes of Scotland are so diverse ranging from mountain tops, dense forests and even white silver sand beaches. Such amazing nature and a powerful culture. Scotland is one of those places that you will never regret visiting, but will long to visit again and again.
It really is the perfect place for Camping in a Campervan or Motorhome and Alba Campers can help you organise your very own adventure in Scotland!
